Pharus Wellbeing sought to complement their face-to-face workshops by launching a scalable online learning platform. I was engaged to develop a high-quality flagship module to gauge client interest in a digital catalogue and establish a high-end design standard that could be easily scaled for a full library of content.
I delivered an end-to-end instructional design solution, beginning with a learning strategy and a high-level course plan. To ensure the content remained user-centered, I worked with stakeholders to define learner personas and developed a voice for platform content that felt authentic and practical rather than clinical.
The core of the module focused on the PALS (Pause, Ask, Listen, Support) conversation framework. I designed two different, realistic scenarios specifically to give learners an opportunity for practical application of the framework. This allowed learners to not only practice identifying "red flags", but to choose the most effective verbal responses when navigating a supportive conversation.
To achieve a high-production value on a short timeline and small budget, I leveraged a suite of AI-enabled tools. I used ElevenLabs for natural sounding voice acting, and Freepik for asset generation. For additional multimedia creation and editing, I used Vyond, Audacity, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The module was built in Intellum’s Evolve authoring tool, where I developed a custom theme to ensure brand consistency for all future modules.
The eLearn module has been successfully published to Pharus Wellbeing's LMS (LearnWorlds), providing them with a functional, professional flagship asset for their new online portal.
